App Store billing and refunds
CleanSub Premium is billed through Apple's App Store. Apple manages payments, renewals, cancellation, and refunds for App Store subscriptions.
- To manage or cancel CleanSub Premium, open your Apple Account subscription settings.
- To request a refund for an App Store purchase, use Apple's refund process.
- Deleting your CleanSub account does not automatically cancel App Store billing.
Billing Sources and Plaid
CleanSub uses Plaid to connect supported U.S. bank and card accounts as Billing Sources. You can manage or disconnect Billing Sources in the app. CleanSub does not receive your financial institution login credentials from Plaid.
Account deletion
You can request account deletion in the CleanSub app. In-app account deletion begins immediately. We revoke active sessions, remove Plaid access-token material, delete or anonymize user-linked app data, and may retain limited backup, security, legal, tax, billing, or dispute records for up to 30 days or as required by law.
What CleanSub can and cannot do
- CleanSub can help identify recurring bank and card charges from connected Billing Sources.
- CleanSub can provide cancellation guidance, reminders, and Track until confirmed follow-up tools.
- CleanSub does not automatically cancel third-party subscriptions for you.
- CleanSub does not automatically scan your full Apple ID subscription list.
- CleanSub is currently intended for users in the United States.
